Chapter 5 Looking to find a girlfriend

So...Chapter 5: It's Time to Find a Girlfriend...

(Haha, two more favorites added. Wonder who will give me the first recommendation vote...)

The next day, Hao Ren got up early, did some exercises, and personally made breakfast to show respect to his grandmother. He then took advantage of the good weather to accompany her for a walk by the seaside.

"Ren, your spirits seem better than before these past few days," Grandmother said親切地對郝仁說道,吹著海風。

"I guess my appetite has also improved compared to before," Hao Ren smiled and replied.

"Haha, are you dating someone in university then" Grandmother smiled knowingly and asked.

"Nope..." Hao Ren firmly denied it.

"You must have a girlfriend. Don't forget that Grandma can read faces; you've been quite lucky lately!" Grandmother said with a smile.

"University studies should be the priority; how could one date" Hao Ren said in mock seriousness.

"That's your dad talking. If I had my way, I would encourage our Ren to date. If you find a nice girl, bring her back for Grandma to meet," Grandmother smiled, looking like a sunflower radiating warmth.

"Alright, if I get a girlfriend, I'll be the first one to show her to you," Hao Ren promised solemnly, making his grandmother laugh even more brightly.

The two walked up onto the rocks and watched the sea for a while. Then Hao Ren slowly accompanied his grandmother back home.

On the way, Hao Ren picked up many small seashells and put them in his pockets.

"Have you been collecting a lot of seashells since childhood" Grandmother turned around and asked.

"They are all kept as souvenirs," Hao Ren said, tossing one of the shells high into the air before catching it again.

Grandmother praised him with a nod, "Hmm, Ah Ren has always loved the sea since he was young, so his heart is as vast as the ocean. He's also very filial and nostalgic, but why don't girls like him Sigh, when can I have my great-grandchild…" She murmured to herself while stepping on the fine sand with her cloth shoes.

Hao Ren didn't know what Grandmother was thinking about and assumed she missed his father. After accompanying her back to the villa for a while, he began packing up to head to school.

Grandmother stuffed Hao Ren's bag full of various snacks and local specialties, making it bulge with its contents.

"Take them to your classmates at school and share them. I like Zhao Jiayin and the other boys," Grandmother said as she sent him off at the door.

"Alright, I know. Grandma, take care of yourself," Hao Ren said, shouldering his heavy bag and setting out on his journey.

Here, people all had their own private cars, and there weren't many residents either, so there were no bus stops here. The nearest one was set up for tourists, and it took Hao Ren half an hour to walk with a load to reach the station; this was like physical training.

On the bus, Hao Ren felt that this weekend had been quite pleasant. With the slightly salty sea breeze blowing, the bus headed toward the city.

Back at school, Hao Ren naturally began distributing snacks again. If he ate these himself, they would last him two weeks. Grandmother always prepared so many snacks because she wanted Hao Ren to share them with his classmates.

No one could be better than Grandmother. Shouldn't he find a girlfriend to make her happy This thought popped into Hao Ren's head as he distributed the snacks.

However, strangely enough, what used to feel heavy after walking for half an hour now doesn't make him feel particularly tired... Hu Ren secretly tested his wrist strength and found that he could lift the table a few centimeters with one hand.

He was somewhat disbelieving and asked, "Zhou Liren, weren’t you planning to arm-wrestle me last time"

Zhou Liren, who was happily opening a bag of chips, immediately turned around. "What Do you want to arm-wrestle me"

"Let's give it a try," Hu Ren said as he sat down in front of the table.

"Man, weren't last time’s losses bad enough for you Since you brought so many snacks over here, I'll use only half my strength." Zhou Liren put down his chips and sat opposite Hu Ren.

Actually, Hu Ren's physical fitness wasn’t bad; he often went running, which made his leg muscles very strong, allowing him to catch the falling girl last time.

However, he hadn't specially trained in upper body strength, so when it came to arm-wrestling, he always lost to Zhou Liren who was 1.8 meters tall.

The two of them took their seats and clasped hands. Some classmates from neighboring dormitories who had come over to share the snacks also gathered around.

"Let me show you what a quick victory looks like!" Zhou Liren rolled up his sleeves, looking entirely confident.

Considering the green skin, Hu Ren didn’t roll up his sleeve.

"Three! Two! One!" Zhao Jiayin, acting as referee, held their hands and then suddenly let go.

"Hey!" Zhou Liren bellowed, exerting force all at once.

Bam! Zhou Liren's arm was suddenly pressed onto the table.

The crowd watched in shock at this scene.

"Not fair, not fair, I wasn't ready!" Zhou Liren waved his arm. "I wasn't seated properly when you suddenly applied force; that’s cheating."

On Hao Ren's calm exterior, only he knew the shock he felt inside.

"Again!" Zhou Liren, unwilling to accept defeat, grabbed Hao Ren's hand again.

"Three, two, one!" The referee Zhao Jiayin released the hands of the contestants once more.

This time, the situation turned into a deadlock. Zhou Liren’s face flushed red as he gradually exerted his full strength; veins popped out on his arms and forehead, eventually gaining an upper hand.

Bam… Hao Ren's arm dropped weakly onto the table surface.

Zhou Liren jumped up excitedly, rubbing his sore and painful arm. "Kid, your arm strength has improved!"

"It’s still not enough to beat you," Hao Ren smiled wryly. "Alright then, let's share the food."

"Food! Food! Gu Jiadong, you stole my potato chips!" Zhou Liren, in his excitement from winning, leapt up and grabbed the nearby Gu Jiadong.

While Hao Ren watched them celebrating, he silently walked to the balcony. Hongyu easily helped Song Qingya get through the crowd. The assistant of Song Qingya drove a white van and followed Zhao Hongyu’s car with five or six bodyguards behind them.Chow Lik Yuen ran for sev...
